Spread over several acres in the undulating hills of Adukrom Akuapem, Ampomaa Farms is known for its sustainable, organically-grown produce and pasture-raised meats. Our pasture-raised poultry and livestock include pigs, grasscutters, snails, sheep, goats, chickens, ducks, guinea fowls, turkeys and quails, with access to 2+ acres of pasture and a supplemental non-genetically-modified, transitional organic feed.

Farm animals thrive largely on produce grown on our farm, so you can be sure that you are eating an all-natural product of the highest quality. To achieve this, we combine the unmistakable landscape of Adukrom — its lush green pastures and clear streams — with good feed and animal husbandry that is appropriate to the animals.

Species-appropriate husbandry also affects the quality of the meat. Our livestock and poultry have plenty of room and space in the open. This way we reduce stress, and the animals are stress-free and happy. This approach ensures the meat is juicy and tender — with too much stress it becomes tough and less able to hold the meat juice.
